To support Optoma's commitment to sustainability the AZH500 cuts power consumption by up to 45% compared to Optoma's lamp-based projectors.[2] Energy-saving DuraCore laser technology ensures a long product lifespan of up to 30000 hours without the need for additional lamps requires minimal maintenance and is mercury-free further lowering its carbon footprint.
An added benefit the AZH500 features an external power supply offering more reliability portability and energy efficiency.
Designed with the environment in mind the eco-friendly chassis design is made with up to 50% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastics and the packaging contains up to 97% recyclable materials.[3] In addition the compact product and packaging size of the Optoma AZH500 projector allows 2x more products carried per container resulting in more efficient logistics to help further reduce carbon emissions.[1]
Geared for conference rooms boardrooms and other corporate spaces the AZH500 features a 1.3x zoom for a flexible setup. For ultimate convenience it comes with an RS232 connection for monitoring and controlling and a built-in speaker.

Replace the thermal module with the heatsink. The latest phosphor wheel is optimized from 54mm to 47mm compared to the previous-gen. Remove the LVPS and replace it with an power adapter which is easily to be repaired and replaced.

The use of environmentally friendly materials for products and during production.
According to UK Plastics Pack 2022 it takes 75% less energy to make a plastic bottle from recycled plastic than virgin materials. Our product design team works closely with suppliers to identify environmentally friendly recycled materials that minimize waste that would otherwise go into landfills and reduce the use of virgin plastics. Optoma is committed to producing SSI-based projectors that are made with 50 % post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics.
Moreover Optoma complies with WEEE RoHS and REACH regulations that restrict the use of hazardous substances during production which helps protect landfills from permanent contamination.
Sustainable Packaging

Optoma brings sustainability to the consumer unboxing experience. Our choice of materials ensures that our packaging can be easily recycled and reused to start another packaging journey.
Our outer carton boxes are made from up to 85% recycled material and we have replaced EPE foam cushioning with recycled paper and paper mold materials without compromising the durability of the packaging!
Four corner correction
Adjust the keystone in both the vertical and horizontal plane. You can individually warp each corner of the image to create a perfectly square image. Ideal for uneven walls or where projector placement is awkward and needs to be installed at an angle.

1.3x Zoom Range
A large zoom range enables multiple placement possibilities at a variety of distances from the projection screen.
An advantage to this is that expensive interchangeable lens projectors can be substituted with a more cost effective solution whilst still retaining a diverse choice of positioning options.

Quick start-up and shutdown
This projector features quick start-up and shutdown and reaches full brightness quickly. To maximise energy saving it also includes a 'pause projection' feature where the light source can be completely shut off. Unlike conventional lamp based projectors the laser- light source requires minimal cool-down time.

Warranty
This Limited Warranty does not affect your legal (statutory) rights under the applicable national laws relating to the sale of consumer products.
Optoma provides this Limited Warranty to you being the purchaser of an Optoma Product(s) included in the sales package (“Product”). Optoma warrants to you that during the warranty period Optoma or an Optoma authorized service company will in a commercially reasonable time remedy defects in materials design and workmanship during normal usage free of charge by repairing or should Optoma in its discretion deem it necessary replacing the Product in accordance with this Limited Warranty (unless otherwise required by law). This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia where you have purchased the Product provided that Optoma has intended the Product for sale in Australia and applies only to the Product distributed by Optoma or its authorized dealers. The Product must be operated in accordance with the Product user manual. Some limitations to the warranty service may apply because of country specific elements in the Product.
Warranty period
The warranty period starts at the time of the Product’s original purchase by the first end-user. Purchaser must retain the original purchase invoice or other certificate to prove the date of purchase. If purchaser fails to provide the invoice or there is no purchase date on the invoice the warranty period shall be calculated according to Optoma’s policy. The Product may consist of several different parts and different parts may be covered by different warranty periods (hereinafter “Warranty Period”). The different Warranty Periods are:
- A minimum of twenty four (24) months for a Product.
- For consumable standard high pressure gas discharge type lamps (henceforth “Lamp”) fitted to a Product at the time of sale the Lamp warranty periods are as the table below:

1.Two (2) years for Lamp & LED type Projector
2.Three (3) years for Laser type Projector
Warranty period for a Lamp fitted to a projector at time of the projector sale
One (1) year or one thousand (1000) lamp hours whichever is sooner
Warranty period for LED light source in LED projector
Two (2) years or Ten thousand (10000) display hours
Warranty period for Laser light source in Laser projector
Three (3) years or Twenty thousand (20000) display hours
- Lamp is consumable item its brightness keeps on decreasing with the usage. So dimming is not covered in warranty.
- Three (3) months for replacement lamps supplied separately to and not fitted to a projector at the time of sale.
- Specific Products may vary by model and may be different than that stated above. Refer to Optoma Australia website for details
- One (1) month for 3D Glasses. 3D Glasses warranty will be void if 3D Glasses battery found drained or dried as the customer needs to charge at regular interval.
- The accessories like remote and dongle will cover 1 month from the date of purchase (invoice).
- Warranty support will be applicable for the products imported / marketed by Optoma Australia only.
The Warranty Period will not be extended or renewed or otherwise affected due to:
1.Subsequent resale; or
2.Optoma authorized repair; or
3.Optoma authorized replacement of the Product
